B-PDX’s 21st October 2017 Meeting, 3-6pm, AiPD PC-Lab 204 [1122 NW Davis St, Portland, OR 97209]

October 21, 2017 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Art Institute of Portland
1122 NW Davis St
Portland Oregon
We honored to have Sam Brubaker volunteer a workshop on color theory as it applies to Blender’s newly integrated Filmic feature.  You will not want to miss this!
Sam has made a dotBlend file especially for you to experience a more effective and interactive presentation. If your email address is not in BlenderPDX@gmail.com’s address book, send us an email and we’ll add it and send you a copy of the dotBlend file.
And, if you physically make it to our AiPD meeting lab, you’ll also find this file ready for you on the lab computers.
Most of us working on the Mascot project were present at our September meeting. And we were all in agreement that, whether due to lack of muse or conflicting worldly priorities, more time is desired to continue this project beyond our original schedule. So, if you’re still working on your mascot, bring your work for share and support.
Bring any/all your works for share and support, as usual.
Also as usual, sharing our CG projects isn’t all we do. We also share intriguing CG news (!like Blender ver2.8!), tricks, info we’ve gained over the past months. So, start noting Blender/CG-related:
Educational Tutorials
Useful Addons
Enlightening News items
Convenient hot-keys, tips, tricks, etc
Etc, etc…
And as usual, we’ll publish on our FaceBook group and G+ event page the web address for virtual attendance about 10-15 minutes prior to the meeting.
See you there, in person or virtually!
