November 2017 Meeting

The November meeting centered on using nodes and node groups to affect UV mapping in Cycles materials. The Hot Seat showed how to interpret Blender’s vector information and how to manipulate UV coordinates to make scalable, animatable, procedural texture mapping node trees.

An incidental point was showing how to make two distinct materials share a node group so that everything but their source diffuse image could be shared.
